The WWASO Medical Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm. Outside these hours, in case of emergency, you can contact the medical hotline on 1733.

Head and Founder of the WWASO Center
Driven by a passion for all things human, Dr. Sébastien Lemaire naturally choses to specialize in General Medicine. Graduating from the Catholic University of Louvain in 2003, he began his career in Martinique where he contributed to the development of Palliative Care. He returned to Belgium in 2006 to work at the Bordet Institute (Brussels) and then started his consultations in Louvain-La-Neuve in 2007 at the Maison Médicale du Biéreau. In 2014, he founded the WWASO Medical Center.
Dr. Lemaire holds a University Diploma in Palliative Care and is an Instructor in Mindfulness.

I chose general medicine because I really appreciate the relationship that is built with patients, and I love the diversity we have in our profession. When I’m not welcoming my patients, you’ll find me reading on a bench in Louvain-la-Neuve, or laughing with my friends on a terrace…

I am drawn to general medicine because what interests me most is creating connections, following people throughout their healthcare journey, and helping with both “big issues” and “smaller” ones.
Besides medicine, I enjoy spending long hours reading novels of all kinds, I like picnics in nature with friends, I like flowers, tea, and I like cats.
